Welded spool

Spool for take-up of primary drawing, pay-off and take-up of intermediate wire for heat treatment, pay-off and take-up of galvanizing treatment.

1. Spools at size larger than φ762 will be welded, with reinforcing bar evenly distributed along its drum and end surafces to prevent from swelling of wheel.

2. For spools at size larger than φ762, counterweight block shall be added for ensuring acceptable balance tolerance after dynamic balance test.

3. For spools at size larger than φ762, all residue surfaces other than work surface shall be firstly primary coated for corrosion protection and top painted.

4. Overal size of the equipment subject to customer design.
